Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate– Hertford County is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate Position will be responsible for responding to emergency/non-emergency medical calls, assessing patients, providing life support treatment for persons (if required), extricating trapped victims from wreckage, stabilizing and treating injuries, transporting the sick and elderly to and from medical facilities/residences, preparing patient reports, and insurance carrier reports.
Must have a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid N.C. Driver's License, and shall be credentialed by the North Carolina Medical Board as an Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate and be able to advance in the certification level. EMT-I Starting Salary $28,460

Water Maintenance Worker– Hertford County is seeking a Water Maintenance Worker- Under supervision, performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of components of the County's rural water system.
Minimum Training and Experience: Graduation from high school and experience with water distribution systems and mechanical work or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirements: Possession of a valid NC Driver's License (Class C), and Water Operator's Class C and Distribution Class B License(s) within first two years of employment. Starting Salary: $20,226

Tax Clerk– Hertford County is seeking a Tax Clerk- Under the supervision of the Tax Collector, performs intermediate clerical work involving the receipt of taxes and fees and the preparation and/or maintenance of fiscal or related records; does related work as required.
Must have general knowledge of bookkeeping terminology, methods, procedures and equipment; general knowledge of standard office procedures, ability to understand and follow simple oral or written directions. Graduation from high school with 1 year experience in general office work preferred. Must possess a valid N.C. Driver's License. Salary $20,226
